I hope you are all doing well… Any news, any exciting stories you would like to share about a pro-life situation? This past Friday, our vice president told me that while praying out in front of the 9th Avenue abortion clinic, a baby was saved!!! Your prayers really do make a difference- thank you for all your prayers! If you have had any pro-life moments recently, feel free to share them with us so we can see how our group is making a difference If you’d like, we can post your story anonymously and others can benefit from your experience.

This Thursday, UWF Students for Life officers will be having a table at the Commons from 11-12:45PM. Come by and say hi- or hang out with us for a little bit. We will have free bookmarks, pencils, pens, and cookies.

Next week, we will have our first social on Wednesday the 14th from 6-8PM! We will be meeting in Building 58A (Large science building) in room 101. Please email us if you need help getting back there… We will have homemade chili, cookies, drinks, icebreakers, and a chance to meet your officers and other members! Feel free to bring a friend- ask any questions you got- this social is for YOU!

October 20th- Silent Day of Solidarity. This activity gives a really powerful witness to the voiceless unborn. You offer up this one day to experience what the unborn experience everyday in the womb- vulnerable silence. You don’t have to go anywhere special- just give up one day of silence for the babies, wear a read piece of tape that says “LIFE” on it, and keep a bundle of info sheets on you that explain why you are offering up your voice for this day. November, date to be announced, we will also be having a Fall Pancake Breakfast! Please, skip breakfast for once and dine with us! Proceeds will support our new group and help the Alpha Center (they are running low on donations right now). We will have more details to come… If you have a passion for flipping pancakes or would like to come be a part of the help crew- plan on eating free pancakes Either way, hope to see you there!
