Greetings!

Great news everyone –  TWO babies were saved this morning!!!  Here is the story:  A young woman walked into the abortion clinic and then came back out crying.  She walked over to where the pro-lifers were and asked if she could borrow someone’s cell phone.  She said that she couldn’t go through with it and was calling her dad to pick her up.  She also was pregnant with twins!  This is wonderful news  I can’t express how uplifting and joyful it is to be out there and see all the sadness going on- but then to hear such joyful triumph of life over death.  A young woman chose life- she chose courage- and she will be greatly blessed for this.

Please continue to keep her and other mothers in your prayers… Some mothers have unfortunately chosen abortion for their children, for whatever reason or after whatever coercion, and will dearly need our prayers and help.  Some mothers, through no choice of their own, have lost a child due to miscarriage.  This is very difficult for women.  We are naturally made to be life-giving, and once that baby is conceived and begins to grow within- a loving maternal attachment to that child also grows.  What more can be said but that life is a miracle and a gift incomparable? Thank you again for choosing to be a part of our hope-bringing life-loving group, UWF Students for Life.  If there is any way we can be of support or help for you or anyone you know experiencing difficulty with a past abortion or a current pregnancy – please do not hesitate to email us.  We are here to help!

On a last note, I want to encourage you all to please, please come out and pray with us, be a loving presence with us, in front of the abortion clinic Friday 16th at 5:30AM-8:30AM.  This may sound outrageous to ask anyone to come out at such an EARLY hour (trust me, I know.. I HATE waking up early ), but this is the time that the abortion clinic schedules their abortions.  You see, they try in every way to make it near impossible for pro-life people to help and rescue the poor women who think abortion is their only realistic option.  They don’t want the pregnant women to know just how much love and care that is out there for them- because the abortion clinic is only concerned with making money – Cash.  This is a very powerful time to be out there because this is when cars are piled up like at McDonald’s restaurant and we have a chance to influence a mother to turn around and get help at a pregnancy resource center.  Just imagine how these pregnant women would feel if they saw 30 or 40 young people, just like them, standing out in vigil for them and their baby.  We, the young, are the ones that can really make an impact!  You ( I can’t stress this enough) you have the chance to save a LIFE.  What an achievement, what a treasure to remember…  You have an opportunity to make a great difference.  This is the CHANGE we need- a change from death to life.  If you are scared of falling asleep, UWF Students for Life will be providing coffee and doughnuts to those who come  This coming Friday, take a chance at something new to give the children an even greater chance at life.
